The Texas Conference on Digital Libraries covers topics relevant to the creation, promotion and preservation of research, scholarship and cultural heritage digital materials. This year’s conference will be held April 28-29 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin.

Title: "Think Different"

Abstract: Library practices are based on a rich history covering centuries of expert knowledge. That's the up-side. The down-side of that rich tradition is that there is so much of our practice that is based on "We've always done it that way." This talk will challenge you to "think different" about common practices and begin to imagine a very different library.
